It is used as a monitoring tool for the presence of Qld Fruit fly and will assist in reducing the number of males in the area that can mate with the females. The trap is very robust and requires very little maintenance (no mixing of lure or changing of lure for up to 6 mths). Not suitable for W.A. gardeners.
