Brisbane International Garden Show Kicks Off!

In October the Brisbane International Garden Show (BIGS) threw open it’s doors for the first time and what a show it turned out to be!  Spread over four days there were over a 100 talks and presentations by leading experts like Graham Ross, Jerry Coleby-Williams and our very own Claire Bickle.  Plus there were some stunning display gardens and over 100 exhibitors (including us).

There was a great selection of cacti and succulents for sale

Plus some clever succulent plantings in the Shipwrecked display garden

There were plenty of bromeliads for sale including this striking Orthophytum vagans

And the air plants (Tillandsias) were impressive too!
